Typical for the surface are the velvety feel and the matte look, as this is sanded and roughened during the production of the leather. Due to the low thickness of the material, it is breathable and particularly stretchy and flexible. Care instructions
All leather parts from Frauenschuh are - due to a special ecological tanning, exclusively without chemical substances - not suitable for cleaning. If the surface is slightly soiled, we recommend gently rubbing the leather sides against each other. The friction creates heat, which allows the contamination to soak into the pores. If you have larger soiling, professional leather cleaning is necessary. It is important that you do not pre-treat with any chemical substance. To give the leather piece some freshness again, we recommend that you hang the products outdoors overnight and air them out. Again, please make sure that you avoid moonlight and sunlight.
