Care Instructions for Leather

Leather & Lambskin

Leather is a natural product and a faithful companion for many years. With proper care and storage, your leather item will remain beautiful for a long time – and will even become more beautiful with age.

Proper Storage & Preservation

Store your leather product in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid exposing your leather item to direct sunlight or heat sources such as heaters for extended periods – this can dry out and fade the leather.

  • Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight
  • Do not store near radiators or other heat sources
  • If not used for an extended period, store in the provided dust bag
  • Store on a hanger whose shape exactly matches the shoulder line – this way the material retains its fit

The Patina – Your Leather Becomes Unique

Through wear, your leather will develop its own unique patina over time. Subtle color nuances and a gentle sheen develop individually – making each leather product a true one-of-a-kind, becoming even more beautiful with every day of wear.

Cleaning for light soiling

For light soiling, we recommend carefully rubbing the leather surfaces together. The heat generated activates the material's natural self-cleaning property, allowing superficial dirt to be effortlessly removed without affecting the surface or the patina of your leather item.

To freshen up lambskin garments, it's best to air them out overnight at sub-zero temperatures in a well-ventilated outdoor area – this will restore the fur's natural freshness. You should avoid direct sun or moonlight to preserve the color and surface permanently.
