About us

We are a family business from Kitzbühel that was managed for over 40 years by Kaspar Frauenschuh and his sister Theresia Frauenschuh-Broz. FRAUENSCHUH stands for timeless and luxurious women's and men's clothing. Specially developed high-tech materials such as premium softshell or nylon quilt are combined with traditional fabrics like loden and wool, creating an unmistakable FRAUENSCHUH silhouette that is known worldwide.

Meanwhile, the third generation has joined the company and is ushering in a new era. With the same drive and values with which Kaspar and Theresia took over the company from the first generation, the five act to the best of their knowledge and belief, entirely in the spirit of the FRAUENSCHUH philosophy.

Kaspar Frauenschuh

took over the Frauenschuh business 50 years ago. He is passionately dedicated to the craftsmanship of tanning and leather processing. As one of the few who have learned the trade of tanning, he uses his knowledge to reinterpret this centuries-old craft in an ecological and ethical way. Kaspar has passed the management of the business to his son, but he is still responsible for the special lambskin and leather clothing.

Theresia Frauenschuh-Brož

is the face of the Frauenschuh store on Joseph-Herold-Straße in Kitzbühel. From the very beginning, she has been a constant presence, and her extensive expertise in customer service and product knowledge has become indispensable. She continues to create a warm atmosphere in the store and personally advises Frauenschuh's customers.

Andrea Frauenschuh

is Kaspar's wife and has been an important part of the company for 40 years. For years, she has maintained relationships with curated international brands to complement the collections with exceptional products. In addition, she enhances the Frauenschuh range with her own unique handcrafted creations.

Simon Frauenschuh

He became self-employed early on, gaining valuable external experience. He completed an international education and proved himself in several large corporations. His love for the Alps, as well as for the European fashion world, drew him back to Kitzbühel, where he joined the family business. Initially, he focused on managing external clients and familiarized himself with various areas of the company. Later, he became Managing Director and now drives the traditional Frauenschuh vision forward with a fresh perspective.

Lauren Frauenschuh

completed her international studies in fashion design, specializing in knitwear. After gaining work experience at renowned fashion houses, she rejoined the family business, Frauenschuh. She took over the creative direction and brings fresh, young ideas to the company. In her own atelier, she develops her unique designs and patterns.

Marie-Paule Frauenschuh

As the youngest member of the Frauenschuh family, she shares a deep passion for the company's philosophy and aims to extend it into the fields of gastronomy and wellness in the future. With an international business degree as her foundation and experience in marketing, she organized this year's Frauenschuh campaigns. She is now continuing her studies in Fashion Experience Management to further deepen her knowledge and gain new experiences.

Jakob Frauenschuh

has been a solid part of the family business for nearly 15 years, supporting the company in various areas. With his specialized studies at LDT in Nagold and extensive experience, he is a key element of the company, primarily responsible for process management.
