The merino wool of this versatile jacket is made particularly durable and weather-resistant thanks to the felting technique. It is temperature-regulating, gentle, and soft. Equally suitable for wearing at home to enjoy its cosy comfort, it also performs perfectly outdoors for leisure or on colder days as a second layer.

This boiled wool, made from the finest mulesing-free merino, is one of the Frauenschuh family’s favourites. A traditional process rooted in the Alps compacts the wool into a robust, weather-resistant cloth that keeps you reliably warm. At the same time it stays breathable and helps balance temperature and moisture. Its natural elasticity gives freedom of movement. Despite its clean shape, the boiled wool drapes softly over the layers beneath and gives jackets and coats a particularly beautiful silhouette.

We recommend always caring for this garment according to the care instructions provided. Given the quality of the material, it should not be washed, bleached or tumble dried. For proper care, we recommend professional cleaning at a specialist textile cleaner or a high-quality laundry. To refresh its shape and appearance, the garment can be steamed gently at temperature setting one.
