Made from soft boiled wool, felted from the finest merino virgin wool, this coat holds up in poor weather. It is breathable, warm and flexible in every direction. On particularly cold days, a thin down jacket fits underneath. It is also remarkably light.

This boiled wool, made from the finest mulesing-free merino, is a favourite in the Frauenschuh family. A traditional method with roots in the Alps compacts the wool into a dense, weatherproof fabric that keeps you reliably warm. It stays breathable and helps balance temperature and moisture. Its natural elasticity allows freedom of movement. Despite its clean shape, the fabric falls softly over the layers beneath and gives jackets and coats a particularly fine silhouette.

100 % merino wool
