The virgin Merino wool used for this versatile jacket is specially felted to create a particularly durable and weather-resistant material while retaining its naturally soft and gentle feel. Temperature-regulating and comfortable, it is equally suited to relaxed moments at home, outdoor activities or as a Second Layer on colder days.

This boiled wool, made from the finest mulesing-free merino, is one of the Frauenschuh family's favourites. A traditional process rooted in the Alps felts the wool into a sturdy, weather-resistant fabric that keeps you reliably warm. It stays breathable all the same, helping to balance temperature and moisture, and its natural elasticity gives you freedom of movement. For all its clean shape, boiled wool drapes softly over the layers beneath and gives jackets and coats a particularly beautiful silhouette.

For proper care, we recommend professional cleaning at a specialist dry cleaner or a high-quality laundry. To refresh its shape and appearance, the garment can be gently steamed at the lowest temperature setting (level one).
