The particular quality of Merino Double Face begins with Kaspar Frauenschuh's personal selection. He sources every lambskin from Spain and checks it by hand: the density of the softly curled wool as much as its exceptionally soft feel. A special finish gives the suede side subtle depth and its elegant character. Each skin is then treated individually by hand with a fine layer of beeswax, which makes it more resistant to the weather.
The result is a supple lambskin with natural warmth and an appealing contrast between the wool side and the finished suede. Kaspar also checks every finished garment personally by hand. His care follows each piece from the choice of skin to the last detail.

All leather parts from Frauenschuh are tanned using a special ecological process, entirely without chemical substances, and are therefore not suitable for cleaning.
Care instructions for light soiling:
For light surface soiling, we recommend carefully rubbing the leather sides against each other. The friction generates warmth, which helps the dirt draw into the pores of the leather. For heavier soiling, please use a professional leather cleaning service. In any case, avoid pre-treating with chemical substances. To refresh the leather piece, we recommend airing it outdoors overnight in a well-ventilated place. Take care to avoid direct sunlight and moonlight to prevent fading or other changes to the leather.
