The particular quality of Merino Double Face begins with Kaspar Frauenschuh's own selection. He sources every lambskin from Spain and checks each one by hand: the density of the softly curled fleece as much as its exceptionally soft feel. A special finish gives the suede side a subtle depth and its refined character. Each skin is then treated individually, by hand, with a fine layer of beeswax that makes it more resistant to the weather.
The result is a supple shearling with natural warmth and an appealing contrast between the fleece side and the finished suede. Kaspar also checks every finished garment by hand himself. His care goes with each piece, from the choice of skin down to the last detail.

All Frauenschuh leather pieces are processed with a particularly environmentally friendly, ecological tanning method – entirely without synthetic substances – and are therefore not suitable for cleaning.
For light surface soiling, we recommend gently rubbing the leather sides against each other. The warmth this creates draws the dirt into the pores.
For heavier soiling, please contact a professional leather cleaner. It is important not to use any chemical substances for pre-treatment.
To give the leather piece new freshness, it is best to hang it outside overnight to air. Please avoid direct sunlight or moonlight.
